Siberia- Old Penitentiary Oral History Project These interviews provide information about the isolation and punishment cells at the Old Idaho State Penitentiary known as Siberia among the inmates. Narrators include both former inmates and former staff from the Penitentiary. Topics include the daily routine, punishments, rewards and executions. Michael Walters conducted these interviews in 1982 for the Idaho State Historical Society.
