Priest Lake, Idaho Oral History Project

Thirteen interviews were conducted by the Priest Lake Museum Association which discussed the Priest Lake area from about 1910 through the 1950’s. Topics included local livelihoods and businesses such as stores, steamboat operations, logging, hotels, tourism and transportation. Daily life, including social activities, pastimes, diet, schooling and the isolation created by geography and climate were also explored.
