Filer High School (Forster) Veterans History Project

Students from Kristy Forster’s classes at Filer High School conducted these interviews in late 2001 and early 2002 as part of the national Veterans History Project. The students met with veterans who served in the military during World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. Forster donated the interviews to the collection of the Idaho Oral History Center in late June 2002. [Note: all but one interview (Lyle Miller/ OH 1496) has a draft transcript created by the students (some incomplete). All interviews have a recording and an index].
