"Completed" Interviews conducted from 1969 to 1998 Scroll through the list or search by the first letter of the narrator's last name: A B C D E F G H I J K L M N O P Q R S T U V W Y Z What follows is a list of interviews conducted by or donated to the Idaho Oral History Center. We place "completed" in quotes, because we denote completed to mean an interview that the IOHC's staff has fully processed. Processing includes creating duplicate tapes, labeling tapes, making indexes and/or transcripts to the interview, and putting the information on a computer database. Even though the IOHC was not an official subdivision of the Idaho State Historical Society until 1978, the Center has interviews as far back as 1969. * During that year the Idaho Historical Auxiliary taped their discussions with Idaho residents, including Senator William Borah's widow, Mary McConnell Borah. For interviews conducted after 1998, click here. The Center has offered the following information regarding these interviews: narrator's name, the oral history number, and the date of interview. If you believe that someone's interview is located at the IOHC and you cannot find that person's name on this list, there could be several reasons for this omission. The interview could still be in process, which means the Center's staff hopes to eventually take all the steps to "complete" the interview. Or, there could be other reasons. Please contact the IOHC with whatever information you have about the interview; we will endeavor to ascertain the status of the interview. The following list includes other interviews done by or donated to the Idaho Oral History Center. Our staff, over time, has worked on processing these interviews. These interviews may or may not have a completed transcript, but regardless of that fact, patrons can access these interviews through the Idaho State Historical Society's Public Archives and Research Library, located inside the Idaho History Center.
