Tourism
Tourism in Idaho often revolves around the state's natural resources and the beauty of its landscapes. Visitors to the state are encouraged to participate in activities such as hunting, fishing, whitewater rafting, skiing, and other outdoor recreation. Historical sites such as old mining towns and migratory routes, like Lewis and Clark's trip or the Oregon Trail through Idaho, are also popular tourist destinations. Our holdings include collections of state-generated promotional publications on tourism, as well as collected national or state publications on Idaho tourist attractions.
